(NBC Washington) One man may be responsible for slashing at least five women on the butt, according to Fairfax County police. In the most recent attack, an 18-year-old woman was shopping at Forever 21 inside the Fair Oaks Mall at 5:30 p.m. Monday when she was distracted by clothing falling over. She told police that she suddenly felt a sharp pain in her butt and thought she might have been struck by a clothes hanger before she realized she’d been cut through her denim shorts with a box cutter or razor. (Detroit Free Press) Former Michigan Fab Fiver Jalen Rose was given a speeding ticket in Clawson hours after he was sentenced to nearly three weeks in jail for drunken driving, authorities said Thursday. Rose was clocked going 46 m.p.h. in a 25-m.p.h. zone shortly before 9 p.m. Wednesday night, Clawson Police Chief Harry Anderson said. He was given a citation for going at least 10 m.p.h. over the limit. Rose’s attorney did not immediately return a message seeking comment. (ET) Alex Trebek, 71, chased a burglar out of his San Francisco hotel room on Tuesday, injuring himself in the process. According to a report from KRON, a local TV station in San Francisco, a suspect entered a hotel room at approximately 3:00 AM and attempted to steal some personal items. The suspect’s plans were thwarted when Alex woke up and chased her out of the room. Alex injured his leg runningafter her, but police were able to apprehend the woman identified as Lucinda Moyers.
