‘Dancing with the Stars” New Cast Announced

(ETonline) Halfway through “Bachelor Pad,” ABC interrupted the conniving and scheming to announce half of the new cast of “Dancing with the Stars.”

The first names announced were the women. The six women signing on for some serious dance lessons include R&B and pop singer BrandyFlorence HendersonJennifer Grey of ‘Dirty Dancing’ fame, Bristol Palin, “Drop Dead Diva”‘s Margaret Choand “The Hills” star Audrina Patridge.

“I have been a fan since day one and love the show. I am very excited about being part of it now,” Florence exclusively told ET.

Then the men of “Dancing with the Stars” were announced. They include Michael Bolton, “Jersey Shore”‘s Mike “The Situation” SorrentinoDavid Hasselhoff, NFL quarterback Kurt Warner, Disney Channel’s Kyle Massey and ex-NBA champion Rick Fox.

“I think it is going to be harder than the Comedy Central Roast,” The Hoff said. “You have to get out and do it now. My two daughters love this show. They convinced me to go out and do it.”

As for Bristol, she says mom Sarah Palin is “excited for me. She knows this is going to be hard work, but she is excited for me.”

“Dancing with the Stars” will premiere on Monday, Sept. 20 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
