(ETonline) Bristol Palin has rekindled her romance with her son’s fatherLevi Johnston and revealed to Us magazine how Levi proposed to her for the second time.

“I came home from work one day and there were tons of flowers in my room,” she tells the publication. She says Levi had placed rose pedals on her bed in the shape of a heart and that he got down on one knee and proposed marriage. “There was not hesitation at all,” she said of getting engaged.

Levi told Us he’s ready to be a family man. “I wasn’t there for [my son] Tripp and Bristol, and now I am and it feels great. I love them both very much.”

Bristol added, “It just feels right to be a family.” The fiances did not discuss wedding plans. Us Weekly hits newsstands on Friday with Levi, Bristol, and baby Tripp posing together on the cover.
