VIDEO: ‘Monica’ on the George Lopez Show, says Twitter boosted album sales
(Top charting R&B singer Monica chatted with George Lopez about her talented children on “Lopez Tonight” Wednesday, April 14.
Lopez chats with Monica about her musically talented sons:
“My brother plays all these instruments and he’s never had any lesson. I can’t play anything, I simply play the throat. I guess it’s like the boy portion of the genetics.”
“With my son, I didn’t know he liked to sing.I used to sing him to sleep and then he started singing back and I’m like wait a minute dude, you’re supposed to be going night night remember, trying to like lay him back over and he’s sitting up, singing. I think it’s just things they pick up on. My son is even obsessed with golf so that’s something that none of us do.”
George Lopez [surprised] Monica and her son with little golf clubs, practice balls and a gift certificate for golf lessons.
